The
purpose of this site is to provide
support and assistance to people who
have been bereaved by suicide and to
people that support them. A special meeting was held 24th May 2004, attended by 17 interested parties including 15 of the 17 financial members. As a result of this meeting, the decision was made to put the CBSSG into recess for a year. Click here to read more. Notice: A meeting will be held for interested parties on Monday 21st February to decide the future of the group. Please ring the answer-phone number (03) 3777 233 in February for further details. We have just added a Reading List which contains suggested reading including books for parents, spouses, and children/teenagers dealing with grief. Visit our News page for excerpts from our Bi-monthly newsletter including poems, and articles. There are several articles on the grief process. Also, we have a colouring-in book available for children to help them deal with their grieving. Samples from the colouring-in book can be viewed on the News page. How to use this website The Canterbury Bereaved by Suicide Support Group website consists of connected pages. These connections are called hyperlinks (links). Hyperlinks can be either words, graphics, or a combination of both. In this website hyperlinks can be identified as follows:

A hyperlink can also be identified because it turns your mouse cursor (arrow) into a small hand when the cursor is positioned over the word or graphic.
